Ferrybank AC had many winners at the Munster under-15 to 19 Championships at Cork track on Sunday last. Jessie Barr won the under-18 triple jump and also the 400 metre hurdles. And in finishing second to her in the hurdles, Kalyn Sheehan achieves a qualifying time for the European Junior Championships, her time being 61 seconds even. Jessie has already qualified.
The other winners were Christopher Russel 100m under-18, Hayley Murphy under-19 100m, Niall Tuohy 800 metres, Gráinne Brennan 300 m under-18, Patricia Barry under-19 3,000m, Cara Kennedy under-16 shot putt
Their boys 4 x 400m relay under-18 and girls 4 x 100m under-19 teams also won.
