Ferrybank Athletic Club had three athletes invited to compete in the trials for the AAA Championships.

Sonia Kennedy finished in first position in the girls under 17 shot with a throw of 10.32 meters.

Kelly Proper had an excellent day winning the girls under 15 high jump with a personal best of 1.50 meters and
she finished second in the long jump with 4.73 meters, just short of her personal best.

Gillian Rohan jumped very well to finish in second place in the girls under 15 high jump.
