The talented Junior Team that travelled to Manheim performed exceptionally well over the weekend with a number of personal bests and qualification standards achieved for the European Juniors that will take place in July.

Christopher Russell started the action off in style by achieving the qualifying standard for the European Juniors in the heats of the 100m when he finished second in 10.65, improving on his previous personal best of 10.79.

While club-mate Niamh Whelan finished 5th in the women’s final in 11.76 and then went on to achieve a new personal best of 23.83 when placing 3rd in the 200m.
