This, the first day at the Munster Cross Country Championships, provided thirteen Munster Medals for the club. Orlaith Deevy (girls under 8), John Francis (boys under 10) and Holly Deegan (girls under 14) were the leading individual performers by winning individual medals. The boys under 10 team comprising John Francis, Eoghan O'Neill, Ciaran Donnelly, Robert Cunningham, Ben Cunningham, Shane Quinn and Thomas Barr, ran very well to finish with the bronze medal and qualified for the national finals. The girls under 8 narrowly missed medals finishing in fourth position. Gillian Walsh, Holly Deegan and Billy Ryan won bronze medals with the Waterford County teams. Well done to all who participated!
