The annual Waterford / South Kilkenny Primary Schools Cross Country took place at the Clover Centre, Ferrybank,
on Friday October 12th 2001. Numerous Ferrybank A.C. athletes won medals with their respective schools.
St. John of God won the best overall girls school with 201 points. St. Declans son the best overall boys school with
166 points. The best mixed school was Slieverue with 91 points.
